We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist responsible for managing end-to-end payroll operations for employees in the Philippines. This role ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, statutory compliance, tax filings, government remittances, and adherence to Philippine labor laws and payroll regulations.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in payroll calculations, including overtime pay, holiday pay, night shift differential, shift premiums, separation pay, final pay processing, payroll taxes, and statutory contributions. Experience working in a BPO, Shared Services, multinational, or large corporate environment is highly preferred.

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Philippine employees, ensuring accurate and timely computation of salaries, overtime, holiday pay, night differential, bonuses, deductions, and other payroll components.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements, including BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG remittances.
  • Process final pay and separation-related calculations, including separation pay, leave conversions, and payroll adjustments.
  • Perform payroll reconciliation, reporting, and documentation to support Finance, HR, audits, and compliance requirements.
  • Handle employee payroll inquiries and ensure proper resolution of payroll-related concerns.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to maintain payroll accuracy and improve processes.
  • Support payroll system maintenance, testing, and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or equivalent payroll certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of Philippine payroll processing experience.
  • Experience handling payroll operations within a BPO, Shared Services, multinational, or large corporate environment preferred.
  • Proven experience managing payroll for medium to large employee populations.
  • Strong experience in: Payroll computation, Payroll tax compliance and filing, Overtime and premium pay calculations, Final pay and separation pay processing, Government remittances and reporting
    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience supporting US healthcare operations is preferred.
