About the job Financial Due Diligence Assistant Manager
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Financial Due Diligence to support and execute buy-side and sell-side transaction engagements. The role involves conducting financial analysis, identifying key transaction issues, preparing FDD/VDD reports, and working closely with clients, target management, and global/onshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end financial due diligence engagements and manage assigned workstreams.
- Analyze financial statements, trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
- Identify unusual trends, financial risks, and key issues and develop relevant questions for management.
- Prepare and review sections of FDD/VDD reports, financial analyses, and transaction workbooks.
- Participate in client and target management discussions and communicate key findings.
- Review work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching and technical guidance.
- Build strong working relationships with global/onshore deal teams.
- Manage assigned deliverables and timelines while maintaining quality standards.
- Support proposals, business development activities, and other transaction-related projects.
Requirements:
- CA / MBA / CFA / M.Com / Postgraduate degree in Commerce or equivalent.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, professional services, KPO, research, or strategy environments.
- Strong experience in financial statement analysis and transaction-related financial analysis.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience reviewing work and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with international/onshore teams and manage tight deadlines.
