We are looking for a Financial Due Diligence Manager to lead and support buy-side and sell-side transactions from analysis through report delivery. The role will work closely with onshore deal teams, manage junior team members, and provide high-quality financial and commercial insights to support transaction decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Prepare and review transaction workbooks/databooks, financial analyses, and supporting schedules.
  • Manage data room activities, document request lists, and analysis of financial information.
  • Perform Quality of Earnings (QoE), Net Working Capital, Debt/Debt-like and other transaction-related analyses.
  • Draft and review key sections of FDD reports, including financial summaries, QoE findings, and points of interest.
  • Prepare management discussion materials and participate in client/management calls.
  • Conduct industry-specific, trend, benchmarking, and other ad hoc financial analyses.
  • Work closely with onshore teams and contribute to proposals and scope of work development.
  • Review team outputs and provide coaching and guidance to junior team members.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage tools such as Alteryx and Power BI.


Requirements:

  • CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • 7–10 years of relevant Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Advisory experience, preferably from a Big 4 or equivalent practice.
  • Strong experience handling buy-side and sell-side transactions with international/onshore teams.
  • Proven experience in team management and people development.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, ratios, and accounting concepts, preferably including UK GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and complex formulas; strong PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deliver under tight deadlines.
