Role Overview
Execute and optimize 1:1 direct marketing content across email, SMS, and direct mail channels. This role partners closely with creative, campaign, and compliance teams to deliver accurate, compliant, and high-performing customer communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 1:1 direct marketing content (email, SMS, direct mail) aligned with channel plans and content calendars; collaborate with the creative team on copy, assets, and templates
- Build and maintain content components (modules, snippets, dynamic blocks), ensuring proper version control, tagging, accessibility compliance, and approvals
- Set up, QA, and launch campaigns and journeys, including audience segmentation, personalization rules, link/UTM validation, and deliverability checks
- Monitor in-flight campaign performance in partnership with the campaign team and flag issues or optimization opportunities
- Support AI-enabled content workflows (draft generation, content variations, summaries) with human review for brand alignment, accuracy, and compliance
- Conduct A/B testing and document insights; update content playbooks and libraries based on performance learnings
- Track and report key channel KPIs, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion metrics, deliverability (bounces/blocks), complaints, and opt-in/opt-out trends; recommend remediation actions
- Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure all content adheres to HIPAA, TCPA, ADA, and internal governance standards; maintain audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in direct marketing content operations (email, SMS, direct mail), preferably within a regulated industry (healthcare experience is an advantage)
- Hands-on experience with journey orchestration tools, content management systems, tagging frameworks, QA processes, and analytics dashboards
- Comfortable using AI tools for content drafting and optimization, with strong attention to detail and governance standards
- Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with creative, analytics, product, and compliance teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
