LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Manage, mentor, and develop the IT and security team to foster collaboration, accountability, and highperformance.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance evaluations to guide team growth and development.
- Establish clear performance goals and provide actionable feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND OPERATIONS
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including networks, servers, and applications
- Ensure IT systems are optimized for efficiency, scalability, and security, applying necessary updates and patches promptly.
- Monitor system performance, addressing issues proactively to minimize downtime and disruptions.
CYBERSECURITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT
- Implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, safeguarding company systems and data against emerging threats.
- Conduct security assessments, incident response drills, and training programs to foster a culture of security awareness.
- Identify and mitigate risks through regular audits, monitoring, and collaboration with stakeholders.
REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND DOCUMENTATION
- Enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and legal regulations (e.g.,HIPAA,GDPR).
- Maintain accurate records of compliance efforts, including policies, audit results, and corrective actions.
- Work with auditors and other stakeholders to ensure the organization meets all regulatory requirements.
STRATEGIC COLLABORATION
- Act as a strategic partner to other departments, aligning IT and security capabilities with business objectives.
- Support Client and VA Acquisition teams in resolving technical concerns and facilitating seamless client onboarding.
- Collaborate with HR to oversee IT-related aspects of onboarding and offboarding, ensuring proper system access controls.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in IT and cybersecurity roles.
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace in a mid sized business environment with multiple departments, security groups, shared drives, and third-party SaaS integrations. Experience should include user lifecycle management, security controls, access policies, and day-to-day support.
- Proven expertise in process improvement, coaching, and leadership development.
- Advanced knowledge of PC hardware, software, networks, and internet security.
- Experience in setting up and troubleshooting remote work environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, ITIL).
- Strong critical thinking and a proactive, problem-solving mindset with exceptional communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
