Overview:
We are looking for a resourceful and results-driven Talent Sourcing Specialist to identify, attract, and build a steady pool of qualified candidates for both current and future hiring needs. This role is heavily focused on proactive candidate sourcing, market research, and talent engagement across different industries and job functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Candidate Generation
Source qualified candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, job portals, social media, networking events, employee referrals, and internal databases
Conduct proactive market mapping and talent research to build pipelines for both active and anticipated vacancies
Develop and maintain strong candidate pools for critical and high-volume roles
Apply Boolean search techniques and advanced sourcing strategies to improve reach and efficiency
Create innovative sourcing approaches to engage passive candidates across various industries and functions
Candidate Engagement & Screening
Reach out to potential candidates via calls, emails, and messaging platforms
Conduct preliminary screening interviews to evaluate qualifications, work experience, interest, and culture fit
Endorse shortlisted candidates to recruiters or hiring managers with thorough candidate profiles and assessments
Maintain consistent communication with candidates to deliver a positive sourcing experience
Recruitment Coordination Support
Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to fully understand role requirements, target candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
Assist with interview scheduling and other candidate-related coordination as needed
Provide regular pipeline updates and sourcing progress reports to the recruitment team
Accurately log all candidate information and sourcing activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or recruitment database
Market Intelligence & Talent Insights
Keep up to date with industry hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor talent movements
Share insights and recommendations on sourcing strategies, talent availability, and market conditions
Support employer branding efforts by promoting job opportunities and company culture through sourcing platforms
Database & Pipeline Management
Keep candidate databases organized, current, and segmented for both active and passive talent pools
Re-engage previous applicants and dormant candidates for relevant opportunities
Track and report on key sourcing metrics such as response rates, pipeline conversion, and overall sourcing effectiveness
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 2 to 4 years of experience in sourcing, recruitment, executive search, or talent acquisition
Exposure to sourcing across various functions — corporate, technical, operations, finance, sales, or leadership roles is an advantage
Strong knowledge of sourcing platforms and recruitment tools
Familiarity with Boolean search techniques and talent mapping strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strong time management skills and keen attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
