Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Supplier Management
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for direct and indirect materials required to support manufacturing operations and business objectives.
  • Source, evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to ensure alignment with quality, delivery, cost, and service requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, blanket purchase orders, and long-term supply agreements to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Review purchase requisitions, material requirements, technical specifications, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate sourcing and procurement execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance, delivery commitments, and service levels.
  • Drive supplier development, localization, and cost reduction initiatives to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Planning teams to ensure material requirements are aligned with business needs.
Material Planning & Inventory Management
  • Develop and execute material planning strategies to ensure the timely availability of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously review minimum and maximum inventory levels for critical production materials.
  • Determine and manage Reorder Points (ROP) and Reorder Quantities (ROQ) based on demand patterns, supplier lead times, inventory targets, and production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels, material consumption trends, and forecast requirements to proactively identify supply risks and replenishment needs.
  • Manage long lead-time, imported, and critical materials through effective planning and stocking strategies to prevent production disruptions.
  • Work closely with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to support demand planning, replenishment planning, and inventory optimization initiatives.
  • Analyze inventory health and implement actions to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, slow-moving materials, and obsolescence.
Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage purchasing, inventory planning, material replenishment, and procurement activities.
  • Analyze procurement, inventory, and planning data to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and working capital optimization.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to inventory accuracy, supplier performance, material availability, procurement efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and material transitions by coordinating sourcing and inventory planning activities.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on procurement processes, inventory management, material planning, and supply chain performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Material Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in inventory planning concepts including MIN/MAX inventory levels, Reorder Points (ROP), Reorder Quantities (ROQ), and replenishment planning.
  • Experience managing supplier negotiations involving pricing, lead times, payment terms, and supply agreements.
  • Exposure to technical sourcing, engineered products, customized components, or print-to-specification materials is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Infor, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willing to work on a midshift schedule and be based in Batangas.
