About the Role:
We are looking for a senior product and portfolio leader who will drive the overall strategy, growth, and commercial success of the company’s cloud and digital infrastructure portfolio. This role is responsible for managing infrastructure-related products and services across cloud platforms, data center solutions, and other digital infrastructure capabilities serving consumer, SME, and enterprise customers.
The role requires balancing technology evolution, operational stability, customer needs, and business profitability. The successful candidate will lead a team of Product Managers while partnering closely with technology, operations, finance, sales, and vendor teams to ensure the portfolio remains competitive, scalable, and commercially sustainable.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Direction
- Develop and own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for the company’s digital infrastructure portfolio, including cloud and data center services.
- Identify growth opportunities, new infrastructure capabilities, and future market expansion areas.
- Define investment priorities across infrastructure products, platforms, and services based on business goals and market demand.
- Ensure alignment between product strategy, company objectives, customer requirements, and technology trends.
- Drive portfolio evolution to support scalability, operational resilience, and long-term sustainability.
Product & Market Management
- Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies related to cloud, infrastructure, and edge computing.
- Identify opportunities to launch new products, improve existing services, or enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure infrastructure offerings remain reliable, scalable, compliant, and aligned with customer expectations.
- Balance innovation initiatives with operational stability, service uptime, and infrastructure efficiency.
- Work closely with Market Intelligence and commercial teams to assess market opportunities and positioning strategies.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Own portfolio-level performance metrics including revenue growth, profitability, utilization, customer adoption, and lifecycle management.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, business cases, ROI, and capacity economics related to infrastructure expansion and platform development.
- Lead strategic decisions involving build, buy, or partner approaches for cloud platforms, infrastructure tooling, and technology solutions.
- Partner with Finance and Portfolio Performance teams on pricing strategies, cost optimization, and long-term commercial planning.
- Ensure products and services are financially sustainable while maintaining competitive market positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Product Partners and commercial teams to ensure products align with customer segment requirements and go-to-market strategies.
- Coordinate with IT, Infrastructure, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure platform readiness, service quality, uptime, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Operations, PMO, Enablement, and Vendor Management teams to support delivery execution and operational governance.
- Engage with strategic vendors, cloud providers, and technology partners to strengthen partnerships and support portfolio growth initiatives.
- Facilitate alignment across technical, operational, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution of portfolio objectives.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers within the infrastructure portfolio.
- Build a high-performing product organization focused on innovation, accountability, and customer value.
- Provide strategic direction and decision-making support to product teams.
- Promote collaboration across functions while driving execution excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Portfolio Management, Digital Infrastructure, Cloud Services, or Technology Solutions.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure-based products or platforms within telecom, cloud, technology, or enterprise environments.
- Experience overseeing complex product portfolios with responsibility for revenue growth, investment decisions, and long-term strategic planning.
- Strong background working with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, finance, sales, and vendor management.
- Experience leading and developing product or portfolio management teams.
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, data center services, platform solutions, and digital infrastructure ecosystems.
- Knowledge of infrastructure concepts such as scalability, uptime, redundancy, capacity planning, virtualization, and service reliability.
- Familiarity with cloud providers, infrastructure platforms, and enterprise technology environments.
- Ability to understand and translate technical infrastructure capabilities into customer-focused and commercially viable solutions.
- Understanding of infrastructure operations, service delivery, and operational governance frameworks.
Commercial & Strategic Capabilities
- Strong business and commercial acumen with experience handling portfolio performance, pricing strategies, ROI analysis, and investment planning.
- Ability to evaluate market opportunities, competitive positioning, and long-term growth strategies.
- Experience managing capacity economics and balancing operational efficiency with customer and business requirements.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven and commercially sound decisions.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Strong leadership experience managing teams and driving organizational alignment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership, technical teams, vendors, and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, highly collaborative, and evolving environments.
