MuleSoft Integration Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for a MuleSoft Integration Architect to lead the design, governance, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role is responsible for defining API strategies, integration standards, reusable architecture patterns, and ensuring enterprise-wide adoption of best practices across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture

• Design enterprise integration architecture using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  
• Define API-led connectivity strategies and enterprise integration patterns.
  
• Establish API governance, lifecycle management, and development standards.
  
• Design reusable APIs, shared services, and integration frameworks.
  
• Review solution designs and provide architectural guidance to delivery teams.
  
• Ensure integration solutions align with enterprise security, identity, and cloud standards.
  

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Mentor developers and consultants on MuleSoft best practices.
  
• Drive architecture reviews, technical decision-making, and solution governance.
  
• Promote reusable integration assets and enterprise standards.
  

Platform & Operations

• Oversee deployment strategies, CI/CD implementation, and environment management.
  
• Define monitoring, logging, and operational readiness standards.
  
• Lead resolution of complex integration and performance issues.
  
• Ensure production support models and operational documentation are established.
  

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Partner with business stakeholders, solution teams, and platform engineers.
  
• Provide strategic guidance on API and integration roadmaps.
  
• Support enterprise digital transformation initiatives through scalable integration solutions.
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  
• 7+ years of experience designing enterprise integrations using MuleSoft.
  
• Proven experience defining enterprise API strategies and integration architectures.
  
• Extensive knowledge of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and API-led architecture.
  
• Strong expertise in REST APIs, RAML, DataWeave, API security, OAuth, and integration patterns.
  
• Experience integrating enterprise systems across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  
• Experience establishing governance, architecture standards, and reusable integration frameworks.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
  
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and modern integration practices.
  
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  
• Experience leading technical teams and enterprise integration initiatives.
  

Preferred Certifications

• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect
  
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect
  
• Azure or AWS certifications are advantageous.
