UI Designer

Summary of role:
The Ul designer is a visual design specialist working closely with front-end developers to make sure that the
UX designs are developed as indented, whilst incorporating the visual language and brand style guide of
the organisation.

Responsibilities:
- Bring simplicity to complex interaction designs using visual design principles and best practices
- Keep up to date on the latest trends in visual design including design styles, interaction patterns, use of
animation, video etc
- Present and defend Ul designs to product owners and other senior stakeholders
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Develop and maintain a design system of reusable components that can be used by design teams across the
organisation

Skills & background:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent area
- Experience in agile software design and development
- Well rounded portfolio showcasing web, mobile, tablet, TV, and wearables
- Knowledge of a diverse set of software such as Adobe, Sketch, InVision
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated, but also a team player with a professional presence
- Well rounded user-centered design portfolio that spans some combination of web, mobile, tablet, TV, and
wearables
- Graphical and Visual design skills, including use of a diverse set of software such as Adobe suite.
