Role Summary:
- The Business Development Team Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the Egypt and Gulf regions. This role involves leading a team of business development professionals, developing and executing strategic plans, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the regional markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals.
- Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities and potential business opportunities.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Create and present business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new target markets and customer segments.
- Develop and execute market entry strategies for new regions or product lines.
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activities.
- Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
- Negotiate and close contracts with clients.
- Work with marketing teams to generate leads.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team activities.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Strong understanding of the Egypt and Gulf markets.
