Role Summary:

  • The Business Development Team Lead is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share within the Egypt and Gulf regions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the regional markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals.
  • Set clear performance objectives, monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and analyze market trends, competitor activities and potential business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Create and present business proposals and presentations to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new target markets and customer segments.
  • Develop and execute market entry strategies for new regions or product lines.
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close contracts with clients.
  • Work with marketing teams to generate leads.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience leading and managing a team.
  • Strong understanding of the Egypt and Gulf markets.
