SCCM Administrator

Role Summary:

An SCCM Administrator will configure, maintain, support, and optimize all SCCM software and services across the organization. And will be responsible for the management and troubleshooting server site and services. And will also manage devices, servers and services,

The position of an SCCM Administrator is very dynamic and they need to look out for solutions to any problems they are assigned with.

Key responsibilities:

Experience with MSI packaging. Must have packaged applications for Windows 10 operating systems (OS) platforms.

Must be fluent in scripting with PowerShell, VB Script, and Batch Script as well.

Must have experience using the open-source PowerShell Application Deployment Toolkit.

Must have a very good understanding of the Windows System Registry and file system, i.e., .dll and .ocx file registration.

Must be good in Quality check of the packaged applications.

Must be able to troubleshoot packaging problems.

Must understand a standard packaging process and workflow.

Must have an understanding of software deployment leveraging Microsoft System Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Compliance checks, Reporting, Monitoring of deployed applications

Detailed knowledge of SCCM architecture, client policy, and network traffic flow.

Task sequence creation and image deployment, migration for Win 10

CMG concept

Image creation (ISO), MBAM concepts, and configuration knowledge

Typical skills, and background:

Bachelor's degree in communication engineering or computer science,

Up to 2 years of experience.

Added advantages of migration AD, DNS, DHCP, and FTP servers.

Basic knowledge of firewall, Antivirus, DSN, Networking concepts

Windows Servers, IIS, and server configuration knowledge

Ability to manage and troubleshoot SCCM

Industry certifications preferred

Excellent verbal and written communication skill.

Experience with PowerShell scripting.

Should have good problem-solving skills.

Self-confident, self-motivated.

Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines

Quick learner with a positive attitude

Must be a team player and able to think outside the box for solutions
