Quality Assurance Lead

• Responsibilities  Plays a lead role in QA efforts on multiple and possibly simultaneous projects. Works on projects of moderate to high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. Work with software architects and developers throughout the software development life cycle to develop and implement the software test strategy and plan. Responsible for full test lifecycle.  Prepare test cases.  Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, system, integration, regression, load/performance, automation, and UAT.  Responsible for the overall success of testing.  Performs quality audits to ensure quality standards, procedures, methods, and duologies are being followed by the QA Team.  Work closely with the Project Manager and/or Delivery Lead to manage testing within the estimate  Must be able to perform the role of a tester.

Qualifications/Experience:

•  At least 7 Years experience in a QA role.  A bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.  Experience using tools: Soap UI, Jira, and Postman are a must.  Advanced technical knowledge, with hands-on in new and legacy computing architectures and environments (e.g., client/server, Web, Webservices, ETL).  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express technical concepts in business terms.  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.  Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Thorough knowledge of QA strategy, process, and bug-tracking tools.  Knowledge of Data warehouse, Data Lake, and ETL Knowledge of relational databases and database applications.
