What youll do
- Own the full SDLC: scope with product, architect, code, automate CI/CD, and deploy.
- Front-end: craft modern UIs in Angular (TypeScript).
- Back-end: build reliable .NET 8 APIs & services.
- Data layer: design and tune SQL Server/Postgres, Redis, and GraphDBs (e.g., Neo4j).
- Ops: run workloads on AWS, Azure, and on-prem; containerise with Docker/K8s and codify infra with Terraform.
- AI-assisted development: use Cursor, Windsurf, GPT-4o, Gemini Code Assist, DeepSeek Coder, and other LLM copilots dailytools proven to boost throughput by up to 55 %.
- Legacy modernisation: dive into existing codebases to refactor, raise test coverage, and improve performance without breaking production.
- Green-field feature design & architecture: partner with product and tech leads to conceive new features from first sketch through scalable architecture patterns.
- Mentorship & code reviews:
support junior and mid-level engineers, run constructive code reviews, and foster best-practice engineering culture across the team.
Must-have skills
- 5 + years building production systems with Angular & .NET.
- Strong SQL optimisation, caching, and graph-query design.
- Proven experience integrating or actively using AI coding assistants (Cursor, Gemini, etc.).
- Ability to mentor developers and provide clear, actionable feedback through code reviews.
Nice-to-haves
- Solid cloud networking, security hardening, and CI/CD know-how.
- Benchmarking or custom-integrating LLMs for internal developer tools.
- Familiarity with working with Python projects and tooling.
- Node.js experience and MongoDB document modelling are a plus.
