UX Designer

Summary of role:
The UX designer is a multi-skilled individual who takes responsibility for the design of digital products from the
inception phase to launch and scale.
To be successful this person needs to balance the needs of customers, the needs of business, and the possibilities of technology.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, and experience
- Meeting with customers to understand their goals and needs
- Developing personas and usage scenarios
- Creating product prototypes
- Conducting usability testing
- Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience

Skills & background:
-Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent area
-Strong experience in agile software design and development
-Familiarity with design thinking and workshop facilitation
-Well-rounded user-centered design portfolio
-Experience conducting user research such as ethnographic studies, usability testing, A/B testing
-Familiarity with a range of design tools including Adobe, Sketch, Invision.
