Game Quality Analyst

About the Role

A dynamic game art production team is seeking a Quality Analyst to ensure the highest quality standards for gaming projects. This role involves testing and validating 3D assets, tracking bugs, and improving QA processes. The analyst will work closely with the Art and Development teams to ensure technical and artistic assets meet industry standards before being integrated into the game.

Key Responsibilities

1. Bug Reporting & Tracking: Identify, report, and track bugs throughout the development cycle. Perform regression testing to ensure timely issue resolution.
2. QA Process Documentation: Maintain and document QA procedures to improve testing efficiency and consistency.
3. Collaboration with Art Teams: Work closely with Art teams to ensure that 3D content aligns with technical and visual standards.
4. Testing 3D Assets: Evaluate 3D assets at various stages to ensure compliance with modeling practices, polycount requirements, naming conventions, and overall quality.
5. In-Game Testing: Conduct in-game tests to verify that 3D assets function correctly and contribute to an optimal user experience.
6. Process Improvement: Identify and suggest enhancements to QA processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA or testing roles, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and report even the smallest issues.
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements and priorities.
• Some knowledge or experience with the 3D art pipeline and asset creation.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• A strong focus on quality assurance and delivering accurate results.
