Mid-Level Unity Game Programmer

Job Location: Onsite Bangalore

Our client is looking for a skilled, hands-on Mid-Level Unity Programmer to join their team! In this role, you'll help create games from start to finish, coding gameplay elements, and working closely with designers, artists, and animators. You'll help design key systems like player progression, UI, inventory, and controls while troubleshooting and optimizing gameplay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, improve, and expand game features.
  • Create unique gameplay systems in Unity to enhance the player experience.
  • Write clean, efficient code and take ownership of your work.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth integration of features.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, focusing on game performance.
  • Write technical designs and follow best coding practices.
  • Research new software and techniques to keep improving.
  • Participate in meetings to provide feedback and suggest improvements.
  • Manage your schedule to meet deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in game development
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with at least one shipped game
  • Strong Unity-C# knowledge

Preferred Skills

  • Nakama for multiplayer and social gaming features
  • C++ programming
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail
  • Communication and teamwork
