Are you passionate about creating engaging and intuitive user experiences in mobile games? Do you thrive on designing seamless player journeys for casual games like Ludo, board games, or other social casual experiences? Were looking for a talented UX Designer to join our team and shape the way players interact with our games!
Responsibilities:
- Player-Centric Design: Understand and analyze target audience behaviors, preferences, and pain points to craft intuitive and enjoyable player experiences.
- Game Flow Development: Design and refine player journeys, including onboarding, tutorials, game modes, and progression systems for casual board games like Ludo.
- Wireframes and Prototypes: Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to visualize the games user experience.
- Feedback and Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing sessions, gather player feedback, and iterate on designs to improve overall engagement and retention.
- Interface Interaction: Collaborate with UI designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of UX designs with visually appealing interfaces.
- Game Systems: Design intuitive navigation systems, menu flows, and in-game feedback mechanisms such as rewards, notifications, and error prompts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, product managers, and developers to align UX designs with gameplay and business objectives.
- Data-Driven Design: Use analytics and player behavior data to optimize user experiences and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 3+ years of UX design experience, preferably in mobile game development.
- Proven track record of designing for casual board games or social multiplayer games (e.g., Ludo, Carrom, etc.).
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in designing intuitive player journeys and game flows.
- Proficiency with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, or similar).
- Experience with usability testing and incorporating feedback into iterative design processes.
- Understanding of mobile game development constraints, including optimization for performance and scalability.
- Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum workflows is a plus.
- Creative Mindset:
- Passion for casual games and player psychology, with a strong sense of empathy for end-users.
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on social multiplayer or board games.
- Knowledge of Unity or other game engines and their workflows.
- Familiarity with UI design principles and tools.
- Ability to analyze data from tools like GameAnalytics or Mixpanel to inform UX decisions.
