Role:
We are looking for individuals who share our passion for delivering world-class entertainment to our players.
We need a sharp and ambitious Animation and VFX artist with a passion for mobile gaming and a strong desire for flawless execution of new game content. Your expertise in the gaming space and extraordinary attention to detail will make you an invaluable contributor to the design process. You will work closely with the team to ensure best practices are followed, delivering only the highest quality products to our players.
Responsibilities:
- Create a rationale for decisions based on comparable products and clearly communicate your thought process.
- Develop animations for games in either 2D or 3D.
- Collaborate with the concept art team to receive 2D or 3D assets for animation and provide constructive feedback.
- Create engaging VFX for various game elements.
- Work closely with the XD and Art Director to set up animation and VFX for the game.
- Create and optimize animations in Unity.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate art assets into Unity.
- Work with design teams to bring the games vision to life.
Requirements:
- A creative individual with a passion for games and prior experience in the gaming industry or similar fields.
- Proven experience in creating appealing character and object animations for games using industry-standard 2D software.
- Expertise in 2D bone-based animation using tools like Spine 2D or Unitys bone-based animation tools.
- Ability to conceptualize, create, animate, and implement VFX across various styles and genres.
- Strong understanding of the fundamentals of great VFX, including timing, physics, linear vs. non-linear motion, and color theory.
- Knowledge of animations technical constraints, including experience in optimization and implementation for games.
- Proficiency in creating animations in diverse styles, from exaggerated/cartoony to realistic or hyper-real.
- Understanding of 2D rigging and texturing.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive in learning and developing new skills.
- Knowledge and experience in working with Unity.
