Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will provide hands-on patient care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal recovery outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patients' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide direct patient care through therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and modalities.
- Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, home exercises, and strategies for daily living.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
