I. Job Summary

Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from being a single or one dimensional role. You will be involved in a wide range of HR related tasks from recruitment, on boarding employees, managing employee benefits, maintaining employee HR folder, drafting and implementing new HR policy in cooperation with the leadership team, act as a point of contact by the company for HR related inquiries.

II. Job Goal

To ensure that the HR department operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to operations and the organization as a whole

III. Duties and Responsibilities

  1. End to end employee talent acquisition and on-boarding including but not limited to:
    • Coordinate with operations, IT and facilities for seamless recruitment process
    • Sending of interview invitation to the candidates/applicants via SMS and email
    • Conducting Initial interview
    • Sending of provisional offers
    • Sending of thank you email for failed candidates - informing failed candidates
    • Preparation of employment contracts, position descriptions, and similar
    • Sending of pre-employment requirements to the succesful candidates and monitoring completion of pre-employment requirements
    • Conducting of company induction during the first day of the employee
    • Gather and analyze data with useful HR key performance indicators, like time to hire, employee attrition, HR EWI file maintenance and a like
  1. System Administrator our HRM Software (Sprout) including but not limited to:
    • Adding of leaves based on the company leave policy - Vacation leaves, Sick leave, Bereavement leave and etc.
    • On-boarding or creating Sprout profiles for new hires
    • Editing or updating sprout profiles
    • Off-boarding employees in Sprout
    • Maintain employee HR folder/files and records in digital or paper form
  1. Supporting the leadership group on matters pertaining to performance, disciplinary and alike but not limited to:
    • Creation of Notice to Explain Letter
    • Serving NTE letter to employees
    • Leading administrative hearing
    • Providing suggestions to leadership team on how to manage a certain case or disciplinary matter
    • Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, policies and etc.
  1. DOLE compliance, including health & safety in the workplace, acting as POC for external Legal Team
    • Suggest changes in the company handbook that would be beneficial for the company and employees
    • Creating and communicating addendum and memorandum
    • Contribute to company handbook development
    • Create and communicate HR advisory to all employees including but not limited to absences, holidays, government announcements, health issues, conduct, grievances, organizational change, office relocation, and all other employee relation matters
    • Guide leadership and operations team to ensure compliance with labor regulations
    • Assist in communication, interpretation and upkeep employees of company handbook
  1. Managing and organizing team events
    • Help plan with the leadership team to create a productive monthly employee engagement program
    • Suggesting company initiatives that would build positive culture, camaraderie towards all employees and leadership
    • Assisting in the development our reward and recognition program
    • Plan for quarterly or bi annual employee survey
    • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict free workplace
    • Suggesting employee benefits and organizing team building activities
  1. Be a primary back up for payroll and compensation and benefits
  1. Other tasks as assigned by his/her Supervisor

Other:

  1. Completing required administration; communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner;
  2. Completing all job tasks in accordance with work instructions and key performance indicators ('KPIs') as designated by Platinum Outsourcing customers, his/her Supervisor, or any other person as designated by Platserv from time to time;
  3. Work in accordance with and maintain stated employment standards as set out in the Platserv (Platinum Outsourcing Employee Handbook); and,
  4. To perform such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by his/her Supervisor or any other person as designated by Platserv from time to time.
