We are currently seeking a talented, full-time Senior Cost Consultant for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects.

Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of cost planning, including cost plan ownership, presentation to clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the procurement process through prequalification, enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation stages.
  • Manage medium-to-large-scale client projects, ensuring effective procurement, pay requests, change management, cost reporting, and post-contract variance management.
  • Provide strategic, tactical, and technical advisory as a senior client-facing cost consultant, influencing project outcomes and KPIs.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, produce procurement reports, and generate ROMs for new and pipeline projects, setting project budgets.
  • Lead cost management teams, manage final account negotiations, implement value engineering, and update cost benchmarking from completed projects.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (MS/MBA preferred), with MRICS/RICS or equivalent professional membership, progressing towards fellowship.
  • Fluently bilingual Spanish, English
  • Proven leadership in managing large, complex, multi-phase capital programs, including experience with integrated teams and senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to ensure service delivery and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a solid understanding of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law, and construction-related contractual frameworks.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations impact project planning and execution.

The estimated salary for this position is starting at $125,000. Actual salary will vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
