Technical Sales Specialist Semiconductor Equipment

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to support our growth in the semiconductor equipment and advanced manufacturing sectors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer-facing sales activities and hands-on marketing involvement, with the opportunity to influence both commercial strategy and brand visibility.

Role Overview

In this position, you will take ownership of business development initiatives, strengthen relationships with customers across front-end and back-end semiconductor operations, and collaborate closely with internal technical teams to deliver high-value solutions. You will also contribute to marketing efforts such as content creation, event participation, and digital outreach to enhance the company's regional presence.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop new business opportunities within wafer fabrication and assembly/testing environments
  2. Manage and expand relationships with direct customers, end users, and channel partners
  3. Gather customer requirements and recommend suitable equipment or process solutions
  4. Drive the entire sales process: prospecting, technical e
  5. Engagement, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure
  6. Work cross-functionally with engineering, service, and product teams to ensure smooth project execution
  7. Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and technology trends
  8. Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and strategic account plans
  9. Participate in industry exhibitions, technical workshops, and customer events
  10. Create and support marketing materials including brochures, presentations, and digital content
  11. Coordinate equipment demos, sample evaluations, and customer test programs
  12. Document customer success cases for internal and external use
  13. Support both online and offline marketing initiatives, including social media and newsletters

Requirements

  1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, Physics, or related field)
  2. 1 to 3 years of sales experience in semiconductor equipment or related process technologies
  3. Strong technical understanding of wafer fab or backend assembly processes
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  5. Proven record in achieving sales targets and developing key accounts
    Independent, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  6. Fluent in spoken Chinese is required
  7. Willing to travel within the region when necessary
