Alliance Business Development (Sales Executive)

Our client is a well-established Japanese multinational corporation, serving as a one-stop communication provider in Southeast Asia. They offer comprehensive solutions and services to meet diverse business needs in the region. They are seeking a Business Development Sales Executive to identify and nurture collaborations with promising startups. You'll research, network, and prepare investment proposals to drive future growth. Proficiency in Japanese, tech-savviness, and strong business acumen are essential.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Identify potential startup collaborators through market research, pitch events, and networking with venture capital firms.
• Facilitate meetings with startup companies and internal stakeholders to discuss collaboration opportunities.
• Prepare investment consideration documents for HQ approval.
• Manage and foster collaboration between group companies and investee startups.
• Conduct research and analysis on the startup ecosystem and IT market trends, sharing insights with HQ.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Japanese language (both written and spoken) for business documentation and communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Strong business acumen and passion for exploring new technologies and business models.
• Knowledge of IT market trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proactive team player with a positive attitude.
