Job Description:

As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing the network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include managing and supporting a wide range of hardware and software components, such as routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technology, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and security of the network systems while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain network hardware and software components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with a strong sense of urgency.
• Document network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
• Analyze network problems and provide independent solutions under pressure.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and maintain excellent communication.
• Implement and manage WAN and LAN technologies, including SD-WAN, MPLS, VOIP, and WAN Optimizer.
• Configure routers and routing protocols.
• Manage Layer 2 and 3 LAN switches.
• Administer general and Next-Gen firewalls.
• Oversee on-premises and cloud-based wireless controllers and access points.
• Familiarity with Cisco Unified Communication & IP telephony technology is a plus.
• Handle cloud networking in Azure and AWS.
• Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, IPSec VPN, authentication methods, IDS, data encryption, and PIN verification.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in network infrastructure management.
• Diploma in an IT-related discipline.
• CCNP certificate or equivalent network management certification.
• Self-motivated and responsible, with excellent time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• A customer-friendly attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Proficient in documentation and task tracking.
