Role Overview

As an Interior Designer specializing in Residential and Commercial Design, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and executing design solutions that meet the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional designs from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development:

  • Develop innovative design concepts for residential and commercial projects, including floor plans, space planning, and mood boards.
  • Create detailed design presentations, including sketches, 3D renderings, material selections, and color schemes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology to incorporate fresh ideas into your designs.

Client Interaction & Project Management:

  • Conduct client consultations to understand their vision, needs, and budget for each project.
  • Present design concepts and proposals to clients, effectively communicating your ideas and addressing their feedback.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Technical Documentation & Specifications:

  • Prepare detailed drawings, CAD layouts, and technical specifications for construction and installations.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure accurate execution of design plans.
  • Source and specify materials, furnishings, lighting, and accessories, maintaining a focus on sustainability and quality.

Site Coordination & Supervision:

  • Oversee project installations, conducting site visits to ensure design integrity and adherence to project plans.
  • Troubleshoot any design or construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both residential and commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
  • Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, lighting, and material selection.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
