We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Lead to join our client - A leading design consultancy. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a proven track record of winning deals and fostering long-term business relationships.
The candidate should possess a strong background working with a small sub-consultancy firm
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Strategy: Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and key industry players within architecture, design, and consulting sectors.
- Client Acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to win new projects and partnerships. Build relationships with architects, interior designers, and consultants across related disciplines.
- Relationship Management: Foster strong connections with key stakeholders and maintain a network of decision-makers to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of tailored proposals, presentations, and bid submissions to meet client needs and secure contracts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with company objectives and project delivery standards.
- Market Representation: Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to build brand visibility and generate leads.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline activities, and progress against targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, ideally in the design or consulting industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
