Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our traditional FMCG sales operations across 7 cities. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in wholesale or traditional trade (preferably in the flower or FMCG sector), with proven skills in managing field teams, driving sales, and ensuring excellent collection performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate sales teams across 7 cities to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale and traditional trade partners.
- Implement structured sales processes and reporting mechanisms.
- Coach and train field teams on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
- Monitor and improve collection performance in all regions.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed commercial decisions.
- Develop city-wise growth strategies, ensuring effective execution at the ground level.
- Ensure team compliance with company standards, pricing policies, and operational SOPs.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with a strong background in traditional trade or wholesale (flower industry experience is a plus).
- Proven track record in managing geographically dispersed sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent training, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a structured environment with clear KPIs and targets.
- Good understanding of collection and credit management.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned cities.
