We are currently seeking a dynamic Production Manager to oversee our project management team and drive operational excellence in our Northern New Jersey market.

Job Summary

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution for full-line services, including roofing, windows, doors, siding, and gutters. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the high-quality standards that PJ Fitzpatrick is known for while meeting customer expectations and achieving project timelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Project Managers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including material procurement, resource allocation, and workforce scheduling.
  • Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing project challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor and enforce quality control standards for all installations, ensuring adherence to company and industry best practices.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative environment that supports team growth and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement training programs for Project Managers and installation teams.
  • Track and report on project metrics, including timelines, budgets, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with sales and service teams to ensure a seamless transition from contract signing to project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Drive accountability and performance within the production team through effective communication and goal-setting.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in home improvement, including roofing, windows, doors, and siding.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Proficient in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
    • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Certifications: Preferred candidates will have OSHA 30, PMP certification, or similar credentials.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in construction management, business administration, or related field preferred.
