Data Engineer I Vietnam relocate to UAE

⟢ WHAT YOU'LL OWN:

• Infrastructure & Pipelines
  - Design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  - Develop and manage data storage systems — warehouses, data lakes, and distributed databases
  - Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance
• Integration & Processing
  - Ingest, transform, and consolidate data from diverse sources: databases, APIs, streaming platforms, flat files
  - Implement high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines supporting both real-time and batch processing needs
  - Apply rigorous data validation and transformation rules to guarantee consistency and reliability
• Quality, Governance & Compliance
  - Embed data governance practices including metadata management, lineage tracking, and lifecycle policies
  - Ensure all data handling meets security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
  - Proactively monitor and improve data quality, availability, and integrity
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  - Work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver clean, reliable datasets
  - Enable self-service analytics across the organization
  - Drive improvements in pipeline automation, monitoring, and orchestration — and share that knowledge with the team

⟢ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent; Master's is a plus
• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or backend data-intensive systems
• Proven track record designing and operating scalable data pipelines on cloud or hybrid platforms
• Hands-on experience with distributed processing frameworks: Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Flink
• Strong expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases and data warehousing (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD practices and modern DevOps tooling
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Bash scripting
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data modeling, and API-based data integration
• Bonus: experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis), MLOps, or distributed computing at scale
