Our Client in the facilities management and hospitality industry is looking for a dedicated and experienced HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR to join their team. 

Job Description:

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and organization of our client's facilities. You will work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. Your role will involve managing daily operations, training staff, and ensuring that all guest and client expectations regarding cleanliness and hygiene are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1. Lead and manage the housekeeping team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance.
  • 2. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and staff areas.
  • 3. Perform regular inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
  • 4. Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
  • 5. Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage.
  • 6. Address guest inquiries or concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • 7. Train new staff members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • 8. Ensure that all housekeeping operations comply with health and safety regulations.
  • 9. Maintain records of cleaning schedules, inventory usage, and staff performance, reporting any issues to management.

  • Requirements:

    • Work Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably within hospitality environment.
    • Supervisory Experience: at least 1 year of supervisory experience

    Remuneration:

    Salary P5000 per month

    Accommodation and meals whilst on site.

    Location: Toteng, Botswana

    Contract terminates on 31st March 2025 (possibility of extension)
