Our client, which has offices across Botswana, is seeking an Internal Financial Officer to join its dynamic and forward-thinking accounting firm. The firm specializes in providing comprehensive accounting, company secretarial, payroll, and tax solutions to a diverse clientele. Responsibilities: As the IFO, you will be a key player in shaping our financial strategy and driving growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Financial Leadership:
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and manage financial risks related to cash flow, capital allocation, and compliance.
- Implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Team Management:
- Lead and mentor our finance and accounting team.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Present financial results to senior management, the board and other key stakeholders.
- Build credibility for our strategic direction.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Optimize financial processes and systems.
- Further, develop and monitor our Business Operating System and our Enterprise Resource System
- Drive efficiency across the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Be a member of good standing with BICA
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Proven experience as an IFO or senior finance leader.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Salary and Benefits
- P20 000 - P25000 DOE

The successful candidate will be based in Francistown and will be required to travel
