Junior Marketing Assistant

Our client, a leader in the telecommunication industry, is seeking a passionate and driven Junior Marketing Assistant to join their dynamic team. The individual will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general support for all marketing administrative tasks.
• Assist in creating visual content, including photography and videos for social media, events, and campaigns.
• Support the management and monitoring of social media accounts and digital platforms.
• Help maintain branding collateral and marketing equipment.
• Assist with event logistics setup and teardown for promotional and company events.
• Conduct market research and analysis

Qualifications:

• Degree in Marketing or related
• Minimum of 6+ months of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite or relevant graphic, video and photo editing tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management tools.

Salary and Benefits:

1. 6 months contract with the possibility of renewal

The successful candidate will be based in Gaborone and may be required to travel.
