Job description

A talented and dynamic candidate is sought by our client in the Telecommunications sector to join their sales team. This individual will report to the Sales Manager and be responsible for generating sales leads, closing deals, and boosting company revenues. Managing existing accounts, developing relationships, and securing new business opportunities are key aspects of the role. Additionally, executing the established sales strategy is crucial for maintaining a competitive advantage in the market.

Responsibilities & Competencies

  • Pipeline line management and reporting to the Sales Manager.
  • Business development and new business hunting.
  • Generate and close prospective leads.
  • Track and report all sales activities from allocated account portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities in the market and have awareness of the industry trends.
  • Retain existing customers and build relationship with new clients.
  • Sales presentations and B2B direct solution selling.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders based on solution design after consultation with technical pre-sales team.
  • Ability to network and build rapport and possessing strong business acumen.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Bachelor of Business Admin, Sales, Marketing or Technical qualification.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years prior Sales Executive experience and previous experience working within the Telecommunications or ISP industry will be an added advantage.
  • Experienced with creating and maintaining relationships with sales leads.
  • Ability to utilize CRM or equivalent sales management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An understanding of the telecommunications industry would be an added advantage.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks concurrently and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
