Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Engineer to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This hybrid role requires a strong background in inventory and logistics management, along with hands-on experience in hardware handling. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end logistics and inventory management processes.
- Manage and maintain hardware inventory in storage and lab environments.
- Track and report incoming hardware shipments and update stakeholders accordingly.
- Coordinate with customers to ensure timely communication of received hardware within defined SLAs.
- Proactively notify stakeholders of discrepancies or variances in shipments.
- Transport hardware from loading dock to lab or storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Perform unpacking, inventory tracking, labeling, and storage of hardware in designated locations.
- Prepare outbound shipments, including packing, labeling, and documentation for both domestic and international deliveries.
- Ensure timely delivery of outbound shipments to the carrier dock/facility.
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped hardware and ensure clear communication with customers.
- Create shipping documentation, secure trade approvals, and monitor end-to-end delivery to final destination.
- Conduct frequent inventory audits and maintain quarantine tracking for distressed hardware.
- Verify incoming hardware against shipping manifests and ensure compliance with customer-defined inbound/outbound protocols.
- Develop and document procedures to optimize inventory control and mitigate inefficiencies.
- Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of logistical processes.
- Adhere strictly to attention-to-detail standards and apply critical thinking in day-to-day operations.
- Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory management and logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience with equipment check-in/check-out processes.
- Ability to lift hardware weighing up to 2530 lbs.
- Familiarity with operating server lifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
