Job Summary:
Reporting to the Project Lead, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing and supporting multiple work streams within a program, ensuring successful execution and alignment with the overall business strategy. The role requires managing direct and indirect resources across geographically dispersed locations while effectively communicating with senior stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, experience in delivering major projects, and expertise in change management. This position requires a self-motivated professional who can drive objectives to completion with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support project work streams within a broader program.
- Communicate key project activities and milestones to stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Develop and utilize project documentation, including toolkits and schedules.
- Escalate risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Present project updates and reports to senior stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project controls, compliance, and change management.
- Identify and resolve issues while managing deliverables and risks.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (MBA, Masters) in Economics, Finance, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with at least 2-3 years in Project Management roles.
- Experience managing teams and leading projects.

- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- PMP Certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience in large-scale transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in insurance.
