Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Engineer with a strong background in cloud computing and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure, containerization, and database administration. This role requires expertise in configuration management frameworks and DevOps methodologies to enhance deployment processes. Strong analytical and communication skills are a must, along with a deep understanding of networking, security, and Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud services such as EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, and CloudFormation.
- Implement and maintain containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Administer databases, including MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and ITAR.
- Enhance cloud security and networking frameworks.
- Utilize configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated test frameworks, and source code management tools including XLR, Jenkins, Git, and Maven.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile & Scrum ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot system issues and optimize cloud infrastructure performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in cloud computing with a focus on AWS.
- Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong database administration skills (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or Elastic Search).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, or Ansible).
- Strong hands-on experience in programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in Agile and Scrum environments.
