Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Environmental Health & Safety for our client's team in Bhilai. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in environmental safety, occupational safety, health, and process documentation, with experience in IMS, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with IMS, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and relevant standards
  • Maintain an emergency response plan
  • Provide safety training and enforce protocols
  • Manage safety equipment and PPE inventory
  • Investigate incidents and develop preventive strategies
  • Maintain safety and environmental compliance records
  • Collaborate with departments for a safe workplace
  • Stay updated on safety regulations and update policies
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies for compliance

Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; degree/diploma in Environmental Safety or Occupational Safety and Health preferred
  • 8+ years in environmental safety, occupational safety and health, or related fields
  • Knowledge of IMS, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and standards
  • Experience in safety audits and inspections
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software
  • Knowledge of safety regulations; manufacturing experience preferred
