Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our client's team at their Grinding Media Ball manufacturing unit. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our client's foundry operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to meet quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify and address quality issues or defects.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistent and reliable production.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues and recommend process improvements.
• Conduct audits and inspections of equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities and results.
• Train employees on quality control procedures and standards to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to foundry operations to ensure compliance.
• Participate in new product development and process improvement projects, providing expertise on quality control and assurance.

Requirements:

• B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a foundry unit, preferably in a quality control role.
• Strong knowledge of foundry processes, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with quality control techniques such as statistical process control, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is a plus.
