Position: Shift In-charge Sponge Iron / DRI Plant

Role:
The Shift In-charge will oversee daily operations of the DRI Plant, ensuring production targets, safety, and quality standards are achieved while effectively leading the team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage DRI Plant operations and coordinate with other departments
• Achieve production targets and monitor plant processes
• Lead and motivate the team for safe and efficient operations
• Inspect and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime
• Maintain accurate records of production activities
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective tasks
• Train and guide team members to enhance their skills

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
• 4 - 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a steel plant
• Strong knowledge of DRI plant operations and processes
• Experience working in a DRI plant with a capacity of 350 TPD
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced production environment
• Familiarity with safety standards and MS Office tools
• Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends
