Job Description

We seek an experienced Welding Engineer / Coordinator to oversee welding operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive efficiency. The role involves optimizing procedures, maintaining quality control, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise welding operations, ensuring regulatory compliance
• Develop and implement efficient welding techniques
• Conduct inspections to uphold quality standards
• Collaborate with design teams for optimal weldability
• Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety
• Manage supplier coordination for materials and equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of welding processes
• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization
• Stay updated on industry advancements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
• 10-14 years of experience in welding and quality control
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS certification (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of AWS, ISO/EN, ASME welding standards and techniques
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Leadership, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Hands-on expertise with welding tools and equipment
