Experience: 5 - 10 Years

Job Summary: Our Client is seeking a qualified Asst. Manager / Sr. Chemist - SMS (Quality Control) to ensure the quality of steel produced in the SMS unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control tests.
• Monitor and analyze chemical and physical properties of steel samples.
• Identify and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Develop and maintain QC procedures.
• Train and supervise junior staff.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Stay updated with industry developments.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years in QC role in a steel plant.
• Knowledge of steelmaking processes and QC standards.
• Experience with testing methods (spectroscopy, chromatography, wet chemistry).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
