Dy. Manager (Maintenance)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians and provide leadership and guidance
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment in the division
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify and address any potential issues
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history and maintenance costs
  • Source and purchase necessary spare parts and equipment for maintenance work
  • Implement new technologies and techniques to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all safety protocols are followed by the maintenance team
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the steel or heavy industry
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical equipment and maintenance procedures


Shift Engineer (Maintenance)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment and identify any potential issues
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan and execute maintenance activities during your shift
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work and equipment performance
  • Communicate with the Manager and other team members to provide updates on equipment status and maintenance activities
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the steel or heavy industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment and maintenance procedures
