Position: Weigh Bridge Operator

Our client, operating an integrated steel plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is seeking an experienced Weigh Bridge Operator to manage material weighing operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the weigh bridge to record accurate weights of incoming and outgoing materials
• Maintain detailed records of material movements and loading activities
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols while ensuring efficient loading processes
• Calibrate and maintain weigh bridge equipment, addressing any technical issues
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers and personnel for smooth operations
• Assist in material handling, storage, and other related tasks as directed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a Weigh Bridge Operator in a steel plant or similar industry
• Strong knowledge of safety and quality standards
• Proficiency in handling weigh bridge equipment and accurate data recording
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility for shift work and overtime when required
