Job Description:

We are seeking a Chemist / Asst. Chemist for our D.M. Plant. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in chemistry and experience in analyzing water samples, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the D.M. plant.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular water sample tests and analyses.
• Maintain the chemical balance of the D.M. plant.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Keep accurate records of tests and analysis results.
• Collaborate on process improvements.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Stay updated with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the steel or power industry.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes and chemistry.
• Experience with various testing methods for water samples.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and in shifts if required.
