Job Description: Safely and efficiently operate a 5-tonne forklift to move materials within the Lighting Pole Fabrication Unit. Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, transporting materials to/from production areas, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a 5-tonne forklift to move materials within the unit
• Load/unload materials from trucks and storage areas
• Transport materials to/from production areas
• Assist with inventory management (counting and recording materials)
• Ensure safe and proper use of the forklift; report maintenance/safety issues
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification
• Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience, preferably in manufacturing/construction
• Knowledge of forklift safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to read and understand work orders and instructions
• Basic math skills for inventory management
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 kilograms
