Position: Shift In-charge (DRI Process)

Our client, having an integrated steel plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is seeking an experienced Shift In-charge to oversee and optimize the Sponge Iron Unit (DRI process) while ensuring safe and efficient production.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the DRI process for seamless operations and safety compliance
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for equipment in collaboration with the maintenance team
• Meet production targets while upholding quality standards
• Mentor junior staff and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports
• Identify and implement productivity improvements while reducing costs
• Stay informed of advancements in DRI technology for process enhancement

Qualifications:

• B.E./ Diploma in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years experience in DRI operations, preferably in a steel plant
• Expertise in DRI processes and equipment, with leadership and multitasking abilities
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team management skills
