Role Summary

Were hiring a Maintenance Engineer to ensure optimal performance and uptime of critical machine shop equipment including CNC machines, VMC, VTL and Plano Miller. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, passionate about preventive maintenance and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and health checks on CNC, VMC, VTL and Plano Miller machines
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production operations
• Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
• Lead installation, testing and commissioning of new machinery
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs and inventory
• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts procurement and service support
• Train and mentor junior technicians to build internal technical capabilities

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4 - 5 years of hands-on experience in machine shop maintenance
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering blueprints
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Preference for candidates residing in or near Bhilai, Chhattisgarh
