Job Description: 

As the Manager - Production Planning & Control (Procurement Manager), you will oversee procurement and production planning, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams.
• Monitor inventory and forecast material needs.
• Develop and implement production plans.
• Oversee production processes and ensure quality.
• Analyze data for process improvements and cost reduction.
• Manage and support a team of planners and control staff.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in procurement and production planning in the heavy engineering industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP software.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality standards, and regulations.
• Effective team leadership and management skills.
• Willingness to work in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
