Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program CNC machines (HBM, VMC, VTL, Plano Miller) using Siemens and Fanuc controllers
• Troubleshoot tooling, programming and machine issues to ensure uninterrupted production
• Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize machining of components like locomotive crankcases and metro frames
• Mentor CNC operators and promote best practices in programming and safety
• Enhance machine utilization and reduce cycle times through process improvements
• Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs and machining parameters
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical or Production Engineering
• 5 - 6 years of hands-on CNC machining experience in steel, power, mining or railways
• Proficiency in G-code, M-code, CAD/CAM software and precision measuring tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership and communication abilities
• Experience in installation, operator training and technical support is a plus
